❖ Items consigned must be in good condition, clean, on hangers or nicely folded. If items must be cleaned the consignor will be a charged $15.OO per item cleaning fee. This will be deducted from the consignors first check.
❖ The Show Shop reserves the right to refuse items that are in unsatisfactory condition. These items include, but not limited to, ones that are damaged or stained. These items will either be shipped back (at owners expense) or donated.
❖ The Show Shop reserves the right to accept reasonable offers on items.
❖ The Show Shop may display items on our website or social media pages and also take consignment item(s) on the road to pop up shops and horse shows.
❖ The consignor will receive 65% of the final selling price (this will include deducting all credit card fees approx. 4%) and The Show Shop will receive 35%. The Show Shop is also entitled to a $2.00 fee for each check issued to the consigner for items sold.
❖ All consignment checks will be prepared at the end of each month and will be mailed around the 10th of the following month.
❖ Consignor is responsible for all shipping charges. You may request to have your items returned after the item(s) have not sold for 1 year, however, you will be responsible for all shipping and insurance charges.
❖ In the event that the items(s) has not sold after 1 year of the initial consignment term, The Show Shop will contact the consigner to discuss the return of the item(s)(at consigners expense), pricing adjustment or other options. In the event the Show Shop is unable to reach consigner within 60 days of the expiration, the items(s) will automatically become the sole property of The Show Shop and shall be donated and/or sold in the manner that The Show Shop deems appropriate and the consignor shall receive no proceeds from the items(s).
❖ The Show Shop will not hold responsibility for theft or damage to, or destruction of, merchandise on consignment items. Items that could occur as a result of fire, flood, theft or any other events outside of the control of The Show Shop, the consignor agrees to not hold The Show Shop accountable for these events.
By signing below, you are agreeing that you have carefully read this consignment agreement and allow your items to be consigned under this policy.
